Schuyler is originally from North Carolina. He has a bachelor's degree in history from the University of Richmond and a master's degree in history from Virginia Commonwealth University.

Schuyler is a high school teacher. He teaches history and U.S. government at Glen Allen High School.

She has a bachelor's degree in biology from Randolph Macon Women's College, a bachelor's degree in nursing from the University of Virginia, and a medical degree from Eastern Virginia Medical School. She lives with her husband in Henrico. They have four children.

Siobhan is the vice president and medical director of OB Hospitalist, Inc. She used to be an obstetrician and gynecologist for OB-GYN Associates.
